Routines

The past few months have been jam-packed with moving endeavors: tearing up decaying carpets, spackling holes, re-painting walls, installing laminate floors, road tripping from Los Angeles to Minneapolis, and then back to California (with my kitty), hanging curtains, assembling lights, furnishing rooms and decorating the whole house. Our home is not completely finished, but it's getting there... slowly.

I am putting my feet back on the ground, and getting back into my routines. I am super excited to share what I have in store for you... mostly I just can't wait to bring you some awesome material! Yay!!

These pictures were taken by my best friend/roommate/soulmate, Madeline, in our new side yard:

My hair is relatively freshly dyed with Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Cream dyes (colors: After Midnight, Hot Hot Pink, and Rock n Roll Red). I'm thinking I will make a little video tutorial on how I dye my hair, what I use, etc... Does that sound of interest to you? Let me know in the comments what questions you have!

My plaid pencil skirt is from the rad webshop Purple Haze Vintage! I am kind of loving minimal looks lately (although, I realize to some people this outfit still looks chaotic.. lol). I usually opt for clashing patterns, tons of color, and layered jewelry, so, for me, this outfit is toned down a bit.

I decided to pair the skirt with my classic '90s chunky platform boots, My So-Called Sweater, my (new obsession) Jumbo Ball Chain Chokerand one of Tunnel Vision's perfect vintage parkas! I'm vibing on the muted palette.

CLOTHES: My So-Called Sweater & Vintage parka - c/o Tunnel Vision  ,  Plaid Skirt - c/o Purple Haze Vintage
ACCESSORIES: Jumbo Ball Chain Choker - c/o Tunnel Vision  ,  Platform Boots - Vintage (Similar here)

I hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had a nice holiday. I also hope that if you were trying to get in on any Black Friday bargains you were successful.

I could say so much about consumerism in America, Thanksgiving being a horrible tradition, etc.. but we'll save that for another day, and I will leave you with this:

"Pangs" Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Fourth Season. Writ. Jane Espenson. Dir. Michael Lang. 1999.

(Oh, and if you have decided to partake in Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sales, you should check out Tunnel Vision's massive 50% off sale!! Use code: OHHECKYEAH to save big time on all in stock items!!)

Take care!
